Guwahati – Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary – Guwahati

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Pobitora

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative. From here, proceed directly to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary (approx. 50 km / 1.5–2 hours).

Pobitora, often referred to as the “Mini Kaziranga,” is known for having the highest density of one-horned rhinoceroses in the world. The sanctuary offers a unique opportunity to witness Assam’s wildlife in a more compact and accessible setting.

Check in to your hotel or eco-resort upon arrival. Spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the natural surroundings.

Day 2: Explore Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Begin your day with an exciting early morning elephant safari through the sanctuary to spot the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild boars, buffaloes, and a variety of migratory and resident birds.

After breakfast, you may choose to:

• Enjoy a jeep safarifor a deeper exploration of the sanctuary (subject to availability).
• Visit Mayong Village, known as the land of black magic and ancient healing practices.
• Interact with local communities and explore the rural charm of the area.

Spend a peaceful evening amidst nature.


Overnight stay at Pobitora.

Day 3: Pobitora – Guwahati – Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati. You will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Tour concludes with wonderful memories of Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and warm hospitality from Sarothi Tourism.
