Guwahati – Shillong – Kaziranga – Sivasagar – Majuli – Guwahati

Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati

Upon arrival at LGBI Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, you will be received by our representative.

Transfer to the hotel and check in. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati – Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.

En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Borapani) for sightseeing and photography.

Explore the local sights of Shillong.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, known for its lush valleys and waterfalls.

Major attractions include:

• Nohkalikai Falls
• Seven Sisters Falls
• Mawsmai Caves
• Eco Park
  
  After sightseeing, return to Shillong.
  
  Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong – Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 7–8 hours).

On arrival, check into your hotel or resort.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5: Kaziranga National Park

Early morning (around 5:00 AM), enjoy a thrilling elephant safari to explore the wildlife and natural beauty.

Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by local sightseeing or leisure time.

At 2:00 PM, set out for a jeep safari in another zone of the national park.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 6: Kaziranga – Sivasagar – Jorhat

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sivasagar, the historical capital of the Ahom Kingdom.

Visit significant heritage sites like:

• Rang Ghar
• Talatal Ghar
• Sivadol
  
  After sightseeing, proceed to Jorhatfor your overnight stay.
  
  Overnight stay in Jorhat.

Day 7: Jorhat – Majuli

After breakfast, transfer to Nimatighat and enjoy a scenic 2-hour ferry ride to Majuli, the largest river island in the world, famous for its Vaishnavite monasteries (Satras) and Mishing tribal culture.

On arrival, check in to your hotel. Visit nearby Satras, Mishing village, and explore the peaceful rural life of the island.

Overnight stay in Majuli.

Day 8: Majuli – Guwahati (Departure)

Early morning (around 6:30–7:00 AM), proceed back to Guwahati via Jorhat.

Drop-off at LGBI Airport or Guwahati Railway Station for your onward journey.
